Green Kitchen's Wrist Pincusion Tutorial

I was hoping to complete an awesome wrist pin cushions using Michelle's great tutorial before I posted my review, but I don't think I should wait.  That's her awesome photo above.

Her tutorial is detailed and well-photographed.  The pincushion she made is absolutely the cutest.  Where in the world does one find Little Red Riding Hood ribbon?!  And, on top of all that, she's giving away the wristlet that's the star of the tutorial.  It doesn't get better than that!

I'm going to make one of them with the vintage German ribbon Isa sent me.  What a perfect way to use some of my precious little bits in a way that they'll be useful and cute.

Plus, I really really need one of these.  Last time I used pins on the couch (tiny macrame owl) I forgot some pins that I stuck in the cushions of the couch. Oops!  Luckily they were found before they poked someone in the bee-hind.

You can find Little Red Riding Hood ribbons (but not the same) here at Rosa's store:

Alice! I now have Ribbon-Envy LOL Because of over-heads there are no 'real' craft stores here in London and I am jonesing bad for some good quality, not hugely expensive, not bought from eBay crafts...

Now I'll have to scope eBay for vintage ribbon. My fiancé's going to love this one.... "Alice posted about it and I decided I had to have it, too!"

LOL wish me luck :D
